The
Performing Songwriter

As
incongruous as a trained, theatrical voice sounds in front
of arena-style rock backing, Jill Carole makes it work on
her solo debut, The Easter Bunny, Sex and Santa Claus (Rebelle!
Records). The self-penned songs are personal, painfully honest
if oblique, but the emotions behind them are easily understood.
Jill's
unusual vocals are complemented by [husband and co-producer]
Paul Robinson's guitar heroics.
A two-time recipient of Berklee College's Top Singer-Songwriter
Award, Jill has embarked on a club tour of Britain as an opening
act for legendary Zombie's vocalist Colin Blunstone. Her album
booklet features original drawings by San Francisco music
great Dan Hicks. (Rebelle! Records, 433 Town Center, #673,
