| JILL CAROLE SET TO PLAY BAY AREA BEFORE KICKING OFF U.K. TOUR WITH COLIN BLUNSTONE OF THE ZOMBIES | |

| SAN FRANCISCO -- Bay Area vocalist / songwriter Jill Carole, whose evocative songwriting style has just landed her a record deal with England's Mystic Records, is set to appear at local venues before kicking off her May / June tour of the United Kingdom, where she will be the support act for Colin Blunstone, former lead singer of the Zombies. Blunstone is also represented by the same label. Carole's songs have a cinematic and emotional quality, and her passionate delivery has drawn comparisons to Tori Amos and Kate Bush. She has recently released an 11-song CD titled The Easter Bunny, Sex and Santa Claus, on which she collaborated with Paul Robinson (guitarist for Al Stewart and Dan Hicks), drummer Kevin Hayes (Robert Cray Band), keyboardist Jimmy Pugh (Robert Cray Band, Chris Isaak), and background voaclist Annie Stocking (Van Morrison, Neil Young, Huey Lewis). Carole's CD can be found at Towere Records, Borders Music, and larger independent chains like Amoeba. Jill Carole will be apperaing at the following venues in the coming months.
